Spiritual Baptism

Introduction for blessings with three children

We gather here today to bring Daniel, Lucy, and Aster
to the
Kingdom of God, our Heavenly Father. .

You, David and Lindsey, as parents, are here because,

as very important members of the family of these children,

your prayers and involvement in the lives they live - are a necessity
and your presence in their lives is both directed
and blessed by God Himself.

We join together with our warm thoughts and sincere support,
asking that a circle of peace embrace your family forever,
while a cloud of God's light surrounds these most precious children
all their days on Earth. We also ask that God watch over
and bless this ceremony and all who are in attendance.

Baby Samuel's Blessing – Christian Baptism
A selection from the actual ceremony

The Opening

This is the day that we welcome this precious little angel
into our hearts, our lives, our loving family,
and into the larger family of God’s Most Glorious creation.

We will pray for him, bless him, and honor those closest to him.
It is not often that we get such a wonderful opportunity to share in a day such as this. This is a chance for all of us to offer our prayers, hopes, and dreams for this new life, and to also acknowledge the blessing that has been sent to us simply by his presence.

A baby is truly a gift from God. Dear Samuel, in the name of God

and all the generations which have gone before us,

we welcome you, sweet, newborn baby, to this beautiful Earth.

We have excitedly and prayerfully awaited your presence.

We rejoice that you are here!
We ask God in Heaven to bless you, and your parents.
We ask in Jesus' name!
Amen!

Baby Naming

The Baby Naming ceremony is done worldwide with many countries and religions using their own special practices. It is a way of introducing the new baby to the community and dedicates the infant spiritually.

These ceremonies are usually done between the ages of one week and three months of age. After this time, the baby will have already been introduced to members of the family and community, so it is important to do it sooner, rather than later, but the choice belongs to the parents.

This ceremony will be specially written or standard. A special memories book is presented to the parents. A certificate of baby blessing is also offered.

Fee: $175 *See Special Note at bottom of page regarding mileage.

Baby Baptism

With the baptism, the baby is brought into the kingdom of heaven. This is usually done in the name of Godthe Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, or in Jesus Name. A sprinkling or dab of blessed or holy water is placed on the forehead of the baby. Sometimes, sacred oil is used also.

Fee: $175 *See Special Note at bottom of page regarding mileage.

Add Music to Your Ceremony!

Music soothes the soul. And who couldn't fall off to sleep as a lullaby played softly in the background?

Playing in the background during or after a baby blessing is not necessary, but a wonderful addition to your ceremony. Not loud enough to distract everyone, but softly playing, it will add an additional element to the ceremony as it soothes baby and sometimes nervous parents.

A beautiful lullaby such as Brahm's Lullaby or one of the suggestions listed below. If you are interested in learning to sing to your baby, here are the words to Brahm's Lullaby:

Good evening, good night,
With roses adorned,
With carnations covered,
Slip under the covers.
Tomorrow morning, if God wants so,
you will wake once again.

Good evening, good night.
By angels watched,
Who show you in your dream
the Christ-child′s tree.
Sleep now peacefully and sweetly,
see the paradise in your dream.

Lullaby and good night,
With roses bedight,
With lilies o'er spread
Is baby's wee bed.
Lay thee down now and rest,
May thy slumber be blessed.

Lullaby and good night,
Thy mother's delight,
Bright angels beside
My darling abide.
They will guard thee at rest,
Thou shalt wake on my breast.
