Life is Sacred!
Every living thing wants to enjoy life on its own level of existence, whether it is a small earthworm or a massive sperm whale. Every living being wants and needs simple things. Life is sacred.
They basically want shelter from heat or cold, enough food to live, and simple comfort from that which would be malevolent to their survival.
All living beings need food and water. They need an essential amount of each to survive, and when given the chance, would enjoy a tad bit of a treat. People enjoy treats so much that the snack aisle in the supermarket is filled with massive variety of even something as simple as potato chips.
Animals enjoy snacks or treats just as well as humans do. For example, a dog may enjoy a bone with a bit of meat on it, a cat may enjoy a piece of fish from your dinner plate, or a sparrow may enjoy a diced apple. We all enjoy that special treat!
All living beings need shelter from the extreme of temperatures. Just as people want and need shelter from the blazing heat of summer of the freezing cold of winter, all animals need these forms of relief and comfort too, simply because, all life is sacred.
His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama said, “Life is as dear to a mute creature as it is to man. Just as one wants happiness and fears pain, just as one wants to live and not die, so do other creatures.”

Be the one who knows that given a pile of feathers, bones, skin, and organs, you can not build a bird and make it fly. No, it can't be done, because, all life is sacred!
Above everything else, teach respect for the Earth and all her creatures and flora. Yes, all life is sacred!
